A young reader sits on a mossy cliff at night, reading a manga volume. Pages drift up toward a full moon over a misty valley of lanterns and pagodas.

Every page,
faithfully
yours

Upload a page or a whole chapter. Luka finds every balloon, translates it in context, repaints the art beneath and letters it back in.

Japanese · Korean · Chinese → English

A translation should feel like it was drawn that way. Same panels, same rhythm, same silence between the lines — only now, in your language.

Four passes over every page

Each pass can be inspected and corrected on its own, so fixing one balloon never means running the chapter again.

  1. 01Detect

Balloons, captions and sound effects, found and put in the order the panels are actually read — right to left, top to bottom.

A senior doctor tells the intern Saito what it means to hold a medical licence, in three Japanese balloons.
  2. 02Translate

Each line is translated against the whole page and your series glossary, so a name set in chapter one holds in chapter ninety.

A senior doctor tells the intern Saito what it means to hold a medical licence, in three Japanese balloons.
    1. 1医師免許を取った瞬間からお前は普通の人間ではないSince the moment you got your medical license, you stopped being a normal person.
    2. 2医者なんだYou're a doctor.
    3. 3強くなれ……Be strong.
  3. 03Redraw

The original lettering is lifted out and the art beneath it painted back in. No white boxes pasted over the page.

The same page with the lettering removed and the balloons left empty.
  4. 04Letter

The translation is set back into each balloon in a comic face, sized to fit. Every line stays editable afterwards.

The same page lettered in English: You're a doctor.
Tokyo at night from above. Columns of vertical Japanese run down the right-hand page, ending with それがこの国の夜だ……

Vertical text

Read in the order it was written.

Japanese captions run in columns, right to left. In English they become lines, set in the same place on the page, in the same order.

Built for a series

One translated page is a demo. Ninety chapters without a name drifting is the job.

01

A glossary that holds

Fix a name, an honorific or a piece of jargon once. Every later chapter reuses it, so nobody is renamed halfway through volume three.

02

Edits at the balloon

Lines the model is unsure of are flagged, not hidden. Correct one balloon and only that balloon is repainted and lettered again.

03

Signs and sound effects

Keep them, subtitle them or letter them outright — set once per project. Here the sign keeps its Japanese with a subtitle.

A door sign reading 宿直室, the night-duty room, slammed shut.
The same panel in English: the sign keeps its Japanese with the subtitle Night duty room, and the door sound reads Slam.
